Life & work
Session work and ensembles
Mazaheri dates the beginning of his session work to eighteen.2
His recorded work places the instrument in very different ensembles. On Bi Aseman (Skyless), released in August 2021, his electric and steel guitars sit alongside kamancheh, violin, percussion and soprano voice.78 Blues for Tehran places him in the Big Caravan Band, at the final performance of Bamdad Xosh’s 2022 big-band workshop in Tehran.9
The Masty o Rasty programme introduced him as a guitarist in King Raam’s band in June 2026.10
Making music with Golsa
His work with Golsa includes production on Sargashteh and a broader role on Ayandeh: she supplies words and vocals, while he contributes music, guitar and production.1112 Their jointly credited seven-song Rameshgar followed in 2026, featuring Hamed Hamidzadeh, Mehrdad Mcy and Farid Farzianpour.13
His collaborations with Rian encompass guitar, songwriting and production. On Nemidoonan Engar To Rafti, he plays electric guitar; on Baghale Man, he takes production and songwriting credits.1415
Asire Baad and a live duo
The five-track Asire Baad, released on 2 November 2024, brings a different featured collaborator into each track.1617 Mazaheri’s own SoundCloud description credits the project to him, Barzee and Pouya Shomali, without specifying their individual roles.18 “Zahr”, with Ashh Nm, is one of those collaborations.17 The pair also appears together in CaveRoom’s performance recording, with Mazaheri on guitar.5
Another setting for sharing music was Refuge Worldwide’s Timcheh & Friends: Winter 2024. The radio programme, dated 11 November 2024, paired record selections from Cologne with sounds brought by Taha and Kasra from Tehran.19
